All this adds to the mountain of reasons I quit Twitter a couple of years ago. The man is a walking cesspool. If I owned a Tesla, I’d be tempted to let it self drive over a cliff.
"There’s his political action committee, America PAC, which pretends to help register people to vote but is just hoovering up voter data to give to the Trump campaign."
Underestimate the importance of this strategy at your own risk.
This is how Trump stole the 2016 election through Cambridge Analytica: target voters in key swing states to dilute the voting pool to favor Trump.
Trump knows his only path to the WH is to declare the election stolen through fraud, and nothing helps him more than a close match and a 6-3 SCOTUS vote.
The more clinical term for muskox is psychopath narcissist. They see everyone around them as objects. He was created by a rich, abusive, selfish father. His own wealth likely started from familial wealth (likely from dubious activities of his father). There is no doubt that he doesn’t give a flying flip for any other human being on the planet. Hmmm, sounds a bit like a former president, too.
Musk is a despicable individual who uses the courts as his personal weapon against democracy and humanity.
The very epitome of entitlement because, yes, money.
Money runs the show and the judges that these ungrateful people ‘choose’ to hear their twisted cases, are heinous actors.
They should be discharged and do jail time for making perfidy the rule.
When Harris and Walz get into power they should patch up or tear down this crooked practice of choosing the judge most likely to side with you, regardless of jurisdiction.
Most of these judges have full filled their quota of injustice by ruling , and should be removed under new law designed to curtail their evil.
This is a great quote from Patricia Lane: "Most of these judges have full filled their quota of injustice by ruling, and should be removed under new law to curtail their evil." It lays bare the ruination of the justice system. Justice is confined within standards set forth from the professional rules of conduct. Injustice automatically follows when the prosecutors, the judges and the state bar associations work outside that framework. It's aided by the news media that provides cover for their illicit activity. Fox News is an obvious example of how it works. It's documented in the newsletter entitled: "Fox News Enters The Scene." Here is the link:
SCOTUS gives the President immunity for official acts. President Biden should deport Musk and seize his US assets, as he is a clear risk to our democracy.
Look, we have to know that we have cancer (as a nation) in order to fight it. Musk has been garbage for a long time. We have a lot of work to do going into November and beyond.
Robert Reich did a poll of his readers (there are many) on the worst two people in American public life. Trump was number 1. Among the nominees for #2 were JD Vance, Clarence Thomas, Tucker Carlson, and Elon Musk. Musk took it with 57% with Thomas a distance 2nd at 32%. I take some heart in the fact that people are waking up to those who pose the greatest danger to our democracy. Now we need to put people in power who know how to fight back. We need to strengthen the institutions like the NLRB, the SC and so many others that serve as the bulwark against the autocracy that Musk and his ilk desire and would install if we don't stop them.
I have said it before and I will say it again, Musk is one of world's most dangerous men. He may not use a gun or bomb as many of the evil bastards who reside on this planet do, but his use of wreath to destroy our way of life is every bit life threatening.
I wonder what would happen if the advertisers placed anti-Musk ads. "We here at Alka Seltzer recommend our product as an antidote to having to listen to Elon Musk."
I still remember the time when being a conservative meant being for small government, less taxes and strong defense. Today . being conservative means being a bigot [race/gender misoginist, gender], tax breaks for the wealthy, isolationist, and orthodox religion [clearly all those who identify as consrvative don't necessarily fit in one or more of these categories, but sadly too many of these do vote that way.]
So whatever happened to the judiciary being an impartial body whose job it is to enforce the laws without bias? Apparently that’s a naive presumption to make. And the DNC has SO MUCH damage to repair that’s been inflicted upon our judicial system over the past 20+ yrs. Same goes for our campaign financing laws (or lack thereof). But that also involves reforming the Supreme Court. That alone would fill the agenda of a KH term for the full 4 years. Once dark money is at least reduced if not eliminated, then we can get back to the elections being reflective of the will of the people and not of the top 1/2%. What a concept!
This is a great quote from Timothy Fifer: "So whatever happened to the judiciary being an impartial body whose job it is to enforce the laws without bias?" The Fifth and Sixth Amendments are designed to protect the fair trial rights of accused defendants, regardless of whether we love or hate the defendant. At the same time, the rules of professional conduct are designed to get rid of justice officials who don't protect those rights. If these justice officials break their duty to protect those rights it then is impossible for them to be an "impartial body whose job it is to enforce the laws without bias." This is dramatically documented in the newsletter from a few days ago entitled: The Supreme Court Buries Professional Misconduct."
You make interesting points about our criminal justice system. When you consider how our system works and how its “members” are determined, it seems as though in theory it’s nearly impossible to eliminate politics and the resulting bias. If judges and prosecutors are elected or if they’re appointed by politicians, both result in political influences if only slightly in some situations. I’m no legal expert but the closest we get to an unbiased system would be to let a nonpartisan group of citizens choose judges, similarly to nonpartisan commissions establishing congressional districts, such as what happens here in Michigan. It may not be totally impartial but it would be more so than elections which involve campaigning, campaign financing and so called “dark money” or appointments made by politicians and their accompanying political influences.
The other question I have is who determined the behavior done by Alvin Bragg was misconduct? Maybe I didn’t follow that case closely enough.
Thanks, Timothy Fifer for your in-depth observations. This is a great question: "who determined the behavior done by Alvin Bragg was misconduct?" The rules define what is and what isn't misconduct. In his case, the commandment is "you cannot make comments about an accused defendant or soon to be an accused defendant
outside of the trial setting. If he does, it's professional misconduct. Another newsletter is coming out about this Bragg misconduct. It's expected to be today.
Musk and Trump are a double whammy on us, and, when in kahoots, magnified. Sometimes I feel we are treading water to keep our heads above it to keep this democracy, our guaranteed freedoms. The richest man in the world (i.e.Musk)is ill willed and working against the common good this country is built upon. He can and will and does usurp it using his wealth. This proves, as if we need more, that it's an existential threat to allow SUCH accumulation of wealth! Musk works to further weaken restraints on him, the way paved even in the court system by GOP so called conservative appointments. This is what his support of Trump is about. What is his vision pray tell.. ultimately?

Indeed it does

This man makes me fucking sick…. How the US could get into bed with a KNOWN FUCKING ANTISEMITE NAZI LOVING RACIST ASSHAT
Let’s not forget he’s not even American…. Fucking South African…. Where racism is king
Great article on Musk’s ancestry:

Needs to go back there, although, they probably don’t want him either.

That would be great.

Please don't call Reid O'Connor and his ilk "conservative judges". They are right-wing political extremists twisting the law to their own preferences.
Love this.

I just can't get my head around how terrible a person Elon Musk is.
Where is our David for their Goliath? Again an rich white guy buys a legion of lawyers to be his attack dogs to force his agenda.
