When will MSM start beating the “dementia” drum about Trump, following its takedown script for President Biden? While he likely isn’t diagnosed with this disease, he certainly repeats delusional — and deeply destructive — lies every day which are easily debunked. The MSM has abandoned its core purpose in a functioning democracy: speak truth to power and doggedly present the facts to support an informed electorate. This clear and obvious pro-Trump imbalance at legacy media is beyond disheartening. It is dangerous for us all.
Amen Sheila. Dementia is a diagnosis best left to the professionals but there is no doubt that cognitively he is showing signs of decline and is simply not up to the job ot President. Some of his ramblings are plainly incoherent and factually wrong. The possibility he's not being manipulative but genuinely believes the rubbish he spouts needs to be considered and reported. This is not a case for 'both sides-ism' and commentating as if it's a horse race.
Now he's napped about a giant faucet somewhere that supplies water to California and that all they need to do is turn it on. Trump is so far gone that who knows what he will do if he gets back into the WH...
The funny thing is that Trump was beaten so soundly in the debate were he rational he'd be looking for a rematch. That way he could at least hope to come about even and not leave the bad impression of him in the minds of voters. But that would take a degree of courage and self discipline (he'd need to prepare and listen to his coaches) that he utterly lacks. Hopefully the Harris campaign can make hay out of his refusal to have another debate despite convention.
Finally I respectfully suggest that Trump's problem is not that he lacks charchter. He surely has a very marked and obvious charachter. It's just a very bad one.
If Harris wins Biden will go down as a particularly great President, not only for the legislation he helped put through but that he had the wisdom and humility to pass the torch in a crucial election. History will judge him kindly and he'll look like a moral giant compared to Trump.
Tangerine Palpatine has ALWAYS only been interested in himself. Until the GOP learns that we need a President, and not a failed game show host with a criminal record, they will continue to be a complete failure.

I would not be interested in supporting Trump in any way but this whole phenomenon is a very important thing to understand. He’s the tip of the political historical iceberg that can be traced to Nixon with regard to the Republican party. Also this can refer back to Civil War divisions in the country. These were never resolved and passed on affecting both parties. Basically some of us aimed for a multicultural multiracial open society offering equality. But a good many are not up for this. The goal is trying to happen anyway but with a lot of pain and setbacks. It’s a battle. Trump himself is a phenomenon. He opened up and gave permission as President for a lot of really bad s**t to rise, playing both ends: the rich and the angered left-outs. It’s going to be hard to impossible to stuff the extremism back underground.

I’m not sure how the MAGA world supports the mango moron! MAGA has supposed to be based on strength and power, yet, all Trump managed to do is solidify his place in the world as the “WHINER In Chief! Seriously, nothing speaks weakness and loser like Trump; the perennial victim, in an unjust world, where Trump was born on third base, thinks he hit a triple, and instead of trying to steal home, he tried to steal second, and got tagged out on at least six occasions (bankruptcies).
Trump is the epitome of PT Barnum’s phrase “a sucker is born everyday day!” And as the wise man once said, “if you don’t know who the sucker is, chances are it’s you!”….:)
I keep reminding people that Trump is the same guy who lost in 2020. Nothing about him has changed except that now he has degenerated into I coherence and self parody, a lifetime sore loser and bully who learned as a child that lying and throwing tantrums will get you far if you get enough useful idiots behind you.
One challenge the KH/TW campaign has is to convey 2 messages. They have to 1) describe the character flaws that orange anus has so well that even the less educated voter will comprehend. 2) they also have to convey policy initiatives to satisfy the CM (corporate media) demands for substance, substance, substance. In a perfect world character alone would go a long way in determining the eventual winner, but it is obviously not a perfect world
and Harris/ Walz are stuck with it. They’re working twice as hard to accomplish both objectives as the MAGA ticket, it’s easy to lie your way thru a campaign. But it will make eventual victory that much sweeter on 11/6.
