I cannot keep track of where Kevin McCarthy (the loathsome, self-serving, slime) stood last time around, but people who live in Alaska could be working on Lisa Murkowski, in New Hampshire could be working on Chris Sununu, in Maine could be working on Susan Collins, on Charlie Baker in Massachusetts, on Larry Hogan in Maryland, on Phil Scott in Vermont to vote with Democrats for Hakeem Jeffries, or for one of them to be speaker. I would go with Susan Collins, or Lisa Murkowski first of all. The concessions that McCarthy is making doom him and doom us if he becomes Speaker of the House. It will be like letting the insane run the asylum.
