Just like in everything else, if you're maga, or a zionist, then you're a true believer. If you're not, or oppose any of what they're doing - from committing atrocities in Gaza to opposing Trump or Musk dismantling the government- then you're the enemy and must be vilified and destroyed. It's so tiring and predictable.

Well said.

Reminds me of the late filmmaker Ingmar Bergman who reflected in his autobiography on the rise of Nazism in Europe.

Apartheid for Israel, apartheid for Americans —seems fair … we’ve already not elected Musk for president.

Believe me, Schmuck Schumer is Zionist as all get-out.

That's the problem.

Trump surrounds himself with people who by his claims of why he is getting rid of Mahmoud Khalil should be applied to Musk, JDV, and many, many others in his circle, including those he pardoned out of prison. However, we are no longer living in a just society. We shall see if SCOTUS stands up to Trump. Even if they do they have no way to enforce what they so, so I am going to assume they won't go there. We have a government, that does not govern, but instead acts like a terrorist organization, stealing all our money from us, and then some. It is terrifying to be Non-White, Black, Jewish, Muslim, Female, not Christian, an immigrant in the US right now.

One of my best friends who is Jewish and a lesbian feels like under this administration she could go underground because of her lesbian identity, as lesbians might do when they live under these kind of regimes. But, as a Jew, who is not super religious she is looking into getting Polish citizenship that she can have through her grandfather, and using that as a springboard into being able to live in another EU country if she does not feel comfortable in Poland. Her partner is not Jewish, and they live as a bi-religious family. We have been discussing that too. Her oldest daughter is married to a Canadian, but that does not automatically mean she can come too. Both her children were adopted in Guatemala, so there is always concern about birth right citizenship and all that it entails to be a legal parent of a child who was not born in the US.

For those wondering about options. I keep hearing Americans say they are too old, or it is too expensive to live elsewhere. Most places are cheaper to live than the US.

I wrote an article called A" Plan C" for Catastrophe.

https://lindaweide.substack.com/p/a-plan-c-for-catastrophe?r=f0qfn

I live in a country that is cheaper in most things, but not all. It is lower on the cost of living index. I moved here to Germany after retiring, so one does not need to be young to choose to spend one's retirement in a cheaper place. One thing that makes life cheaper is health insurance is cheaper for the most part, and long term disability is covered too, and one has lots of insurances for almost every aspect of life, which are not too expensive, but protect you from almost anything that can happen in life. This was planned over 3 years, and my daughter coming here to University had been a plan, but still, it is feeling a lot safer economically. No one is talking about cancelling social security here or medical insurance.

Let’s look at all of Trump’s Jews—Miller, a self-hating racist; Kushner Senior, felon; the Adelsons, buying ringside seats at the Demolition Derby; Meyer Lansky, too late.

Americas far right Jews have bought this BS lock stock and barrel. Some of my family included. And we were brought up as liberal Democrats! It’s quite a bizarre feeling but this article helps explain it.

“Christian Zionism”—apparently Israel is no fit place for Jews OR Muslims, should be “corrected” soon by the devout.

Then, on to the rest of the world—nasty Buddhists, wild Zoroastrians, Hindis and their too-many gods …

::Trump claims to be the arbiter of Jewish identity

That’s antisemitic. And dangerous.::

Exsqueeze me?

That is also the absolutely STUPIDEST thing ever to come out of Trump's assmouth.

While I wouldn't call Schmuck Schumer "too Jewish", I would say he's FAR too Zionist and Israeli to be an American Senator.
